What information I need to make an auto claim?

Each type of accident or event requires specific processes and documentation. After completing them you should call (787) 781-7100 for an appointment.

In case of vehicle loss

At the site of the accident

  • Make sure that you and others involved are OK; if there are injuries, call 911 for emergency assistance.
  • Ask the other vehicle’s driver for their personal information (name, address, license plate, and phone number), the name of their insurance company, and the car’s titleholder and details.
  • If there are any witnesses, write down their names, addresses, and phone numbers.
  • Call the police to the site of the accident and write down the report number and the officer’s badge number, name, and assigned headquarters. Tell the officer all the details of how the accident happened.
  • If possible, take photos of the vehicles involved in the accident and the place where it happened.

After the accident

  • To report the claim, visit our website, https://propiedad.grupotriples.com/en/, and click on “Login”. If you are registered, enter your user credentials. If you haven’t registered yet, click on “Register Now” and fill out all your information, including your customer and policy numbers.
  • The system will send you an email to confirm your registration.
  • Go to your profile, select the policy and the affected vehicle, and click on “Report Notice of Loss”.
  • Fill in the information required by the system and upload all the documents and/or pictures related to the accident.
  • You may also report your accident by calling our Customer Service Center at 787-781-7100 during our business hours: M-F, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

In case of property loss

  • To report the claim, visit our website, https://propiedad.grupotriples.com/en/, and click on “Login”. If you are registered, enter your user credentials. If you haven’t registered yet, click on “Register Now” and fill out all your information, including your customer and policy numbers.
  • The system will send you an email to confirm your registration.
  • Go to your profile, select the policy and affected property, and click on “Report Notice of Loss”.
  • Keep track of all bills related to the affected property and any other evidence of the loss.
  • If you undertake any partial repairs, keep track of any photos of the damage before the repair, receipts, and proof of payment.
  • Protect the affected property

In case of a catastrophic loss (such as due to a hurricane or an earthquake)

  • To report the claim, visit our website, https://propiedad.grupotriples.com/en/, and click on “Login”. If you are registered, enter your user credentials. If you haven’t registered yet, click on “Register Now” and fill out all your information, including your customer and policy numbers.
  • Go to your profile and select the policy and affected property. From the options provided by the system, select the option that the loss was due to a natural disaster.
  • You may also report your accident by calling our Customer Service Center at 787-781-7100 during our business hours: M-F, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
